Hanging Rock
When you visit the Macedon Ranges, a visit to Hanging Rock is a must!
You can walk to the top of Hanging Rock for stunning views, or take a stroll around the base.
(Dogs are not allowed up the actual Rock walk but are allowed in the park and our outside dining area on a lead)
The Hanging Rock Reserve opens at 9:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm, 7 days a week! Last entry is 330pm during Summer. A fee of $15 per car applies to all Visitors-this is not charged by the Cafe, it is a charge from Macedon Ranges Shire Council to maintain the park.
It is approximately 7kms to walk from Woodend Train Station or you can contact us for details of a transport service to get you to and from Hanging Rock.
Our Cafe
Our family-run cafe is nestled at the base of the Rock, inside the reserve.
Whether it's coffee, snacks or something more substantial from our menu, we have a selection of local produce and team favourites available to purchase.
Enjoy a table outside and watch the wildlife or take in views of the rock, or recline inside on colder months with your favourite hot brew.
